The D-Link Vigilance 8 Megapixel H.265 Outdoor Bullet Camera (DCS-4718E) is a high-definition professional surveillance solution suitable for small, medium, and large enterprises. The camera uses a high-sensitivity 1/2.5” 8 megapixel progressive scan CMOS sensor with onboard WDR image enhancement and a 3.3-12mm motorized varifocal zoom lens, resulting in a detailed, superior video quality in all conditions, day or night. The all-in-one rugged design makes this camera extremely reliable, and ideal for deployment in outdoor surveillance applications without the need for additional accessories, which is important for hotels, retail stores and a wide range of businesses. The DCS-4718E has built-in 802.3af-compliant PoE support that simplifies installation by providing power and networking connectivity over a single standard network cable. To maximize bandwidth efficiency and improve image capture quality, the DCS-4718E provides real-time video compression using the H.265, H.264, and MJPEG codecs while video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 provide clear details. Additional support for motion detection, event management and 18x digital zoom features allow for sophisticated network implementation. The DCS-4718E also has built-in IR LED illuminators with a 30-meter range, allowing the camera to keep watch even in complete darkness. For low-light situations, the IR-cut filter will automatically slide out of the way to optimize available ambient light. IP66 certification ensures the camera is completely protected from dust, water and a variety of environmental climates.
