Add RS-232 serial communication support to USB-A enabled Data Terminal Equipment (DTE - e.g., desktop or laptop), using this 3ft (1m) straight through USB to Serial Adapter Cable. The USB Serial Adapter adds an RS-232 serial DB/DE-9 (male) connector to a desktop or laptop via a USB Type-A port. Secure the adapter to a serial device, using pre-installed Slotted D-Sub Thumbscrews or install the included DB-9 Nuts for compatibility with other serial peripheral devices or cables. Data transmission and reception LED indicators on the adapter provide real-time monitoring of port activity. The USB LED indicates when the adapter has successfully enumerated on the desktop or laptop. All the LEDs aid with diagnostics and troubleshooting. The adapter is compatible with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, and Linux. Drivers automatically install to Windows 7 and newer versions and macOS 10.15 and above. The USB to RS-232 adapter features COM retention, which automatically reassigns the COM port value if the cable is disconnected and reconnected, or if the system is rebooted. The rugged TPE construction and Level-4 ESD protection (15kV air and 8kV contact) enhance the reliability and longevity of the USB to Serial Adapter. Copper shielding minimizes Electromagnetic and Radio Frequency Interference (EMI and RFI). Gold-plated connectors enhance signal conductivity. Any additional costs incurred due to delivery failure caused by customer fault, including but not limited to redelivery fees, will be borne by the customer.

3. Adult Signature Requirement and Shipping Address Policy:

All shipments processed through Dealtargets.ca require an adult signature upon delivery. Customers must ensure that a person of legal age is available to sign for the package upon its arrival.
Once a parcel has been shipped, Dealtargets.ca does not entertain requests for changing the shipping address. Customers must provide accurate and up-to-date shipping information during checkout.
